The central theme of this year&#8217;s edition was \u201cToxicology \u2013 A Quest for safe Chemicals and Medicines\u201d <\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">During the poster session, our researchers presented results of their work:<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"> <\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Daniel Krakowian presented research on a cytotoxicity test for assessing eye irritation (CEI), which was developed at \u0141ukasiewicz &#8211; IPO to classify substances based on their potential eye hazards. The study aimed to determine whether the CEI test could be effectively used for multi-component mixtures. <\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"> <\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Robert Sornat presented findings on the use of danio rerio embryos as a model for testing the toxicity of plant protection products.
