Task commissioned by the President of the Lukasiewicz Center. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Title: &#8220;Development of national technology for obtaining nitrocellulose for the production of explosives&#8221; NitroC<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Total project value: <\/strong>PLN 8,472,975.00<br><strong>Funding value: <\/strong> PLN 8,472,975.00<br><strong>Date of signing the grant agreement: <\/strong>06.05.2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_x_MsoNormal\"><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">The project is being implemented by a Consortium composed of:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\u0141ukasiewicz &#8211; Institute of Industrial Chemistry named after Professor Ignacy Mo\u015bcicki &#8211; Leader<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_x_MsoNormal\">\u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 Institute of Industrial Organic Chemistry<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>The aim of the project<\/strong> is to develop and verify on a laboratory scale the technology for obtaining nitrocellulose on the basis of endogenous raw materials from sustainable raw material sources (including by-products from industry and agriculture), together with the stage of further scaling up of the entire technological line. The project is being implemented by two institutes of the Lukasiewicz Research Network: the Institute of Industrial Chemistry (Leader) and the Institute of Organic Industry, complementary in terms of research facilities and competencies necessary to carry out the tasks assigned to them. The launch of the target production of nitrocellulose based on the domestic raw material base will not only increase Poland&#8217;s independence in terms of key intermediates for the defense industry, but may also become an impulse for the development of new technologies and innovative solutions in the chemical, pharmaceutical, paint, cosmetics and printing sectors, raising the competitiveness of the respective industries also on the international market.  <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The project was subsidized by the state budget.
