On July 14-18, 2024, we had the pleasure of participating in the 47th International Pyrotechnic Society Seminar, which took place in Albuquerque, USA.
The seminar covered a wide range of issues related to pyrotechnic materials, explosives and rocket fuels. Presentations of research results mainly concerned the manufacturing processes, assessment of properties and applications of high-energy materials.
Our experts could not miss such an important event! Dr. Eng. Rafał Lewczuk and MSc. Eng. Martyna Niedolistek represented our institute, taking an active part in discussions and presentations. Speakers from Lukasiewicz – IPO presented the results obtained during the implementation of a grant financed by the National Science Center under the MINIATURA-6 competition. The speech also made it possible to present the scope of the Institute’s activities and areas in which cooperation with foreign entities could be established.
The Pyrotechnic Society, by organising such seminars and running the Propellants, Explosives, Pyrotechnics journal, facilitates the exchange of information and experiences related to research on broadly understood high-energy materials, which is crucial for the development of this field.
