See you at EUROTOX 2026 in Vienna!
From 13 to 16 September 2026, representatives of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Industrial Organic Chemistry will participate in EUROTOX 2026, one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to toxicology.
OUR SPECIALTY
Areas of our activity
CHEMICAL SAFETY AND STATIC ELECTRICITY
Hazard assessment of chemical substances and mixtures during their manufacture, storage, transport, trade and use. Assessment of the risks posed by static electricity phenomena, and methods of anti-electrostatic protection.
SAFETY FOR HUMAN HEALTH AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT
Studies in the fields of toxicology, ecotoxicology, environmental fate and behaviour, as well as physicochemistry and analytics to determine the impact of chemical substances on human or animal health and the natural environment. The results of the studies are used, among other things, for registration purposes.
HIGH-ENERGY MATERIALS
R&D activities in the chemistry and technology of high-energy materials – explosives, rocket fuels (propellants), nitrocellulose powders, pyrotechnic and blasting agents.
Perform safety evaluations of materials manufactured, used in production or placed on the market. Perform safety evaluations of materials manufactured, used in production or placed on the market.
CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY AND BIOTECHNOLOGY
Chemia i technologia substancji biologicznie aktywnych oraz opartych na nich środków ochrony roślin, farmaceutyków, środków do higieny sanitarnej i produktów leczniczych weterynaryjnych, produktów biobójczych, chemikaliów specjalnych dla różnych dziedzin przemysłu oraz półproduktów organicznych, przede wszystkim na potrzeby lekkiej syntezy organicznej.
