For the sake of health and the environment. Gardens of experiments.
Can science be fascinating? Of course! You can see for yourself.
On December 7 we invite you to the 8th Silesian Science Festival in Katowice, where science combines with a passion for discovery.
At our stand in the Multifunctional Room – Nature District, under the slogan “For the sake of health and the environment. Gardens of experiments”, we have prepared something special. There will be an opportunity to:
- Learn more about organisms that are key from the point of view of ecotoxicology, including beneficial arthropods such as the seven-spot ladybug or the common lacewing.
- Look into the microscope and discover the world of the pear-tree beetle.
- Try pipetting and experimenting with basic laboratory glassware yourself.
Our activities are a combination of science, fun and practice – perfect for everyone curious about the world! Not only biology – at the stand you will also find interesting initiatives from other Łukasiewicz institutes.
