Declaration of digital accessibility - statement on accessibility
The Lukasiewicz Research Network – Organic Industry Institute undertakes to ensure the accessibility of its website in accordance with the Law of April 4, 2019 on Digital Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Entities. Status in terms of compliance with the Law
The website is not in compliance with the Law of April 4, 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities due to the incompatibilities listed below:
- Some of the content on the website, including illustrations, does not contain digitally accessible alternative content;
- Content and user interface elements on the website have insufficient graphic contrast to the background;
- There are no additional shortcuts defined on the website to navigate to specific subpages. Standard browser keyboard shortcuts such as TAB, SHIFT+TAB (move to next / previous item) may not work properly on some subpages or not at all;
- User interface elements such as the main menu buttons are not operable by keyboard only;

Information about the non-availability of a sign language interpreter
Research Network Lukasiewicz – Organic Industry Institute informs about the non-availability of a sign language interpreter via electronic communication means.
Information on the procedure
Anyone has the right to request the provision of accessibility to a digital website, mobile application or some element thereof. It is also possible to request that the information be made available through an alternative means of access, for example, by reading a digitally inaccessible document, describing the content of a film without an audio description, etc. The request should include the details of the person making the request, an indication of which website or mobile application is involved, and a method of contact. If the person making the request is requesting to receive information through an alternative means of access, he or she should also specify the form of presentation of this information. Research Network Lukasiewicz – Institute of Organic Industry will implement the request immediately, no later than within 7 days from the date of the request. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, the Lukasiewicz Research Network – Organic Industry Institute will immediately inform the requester when the fulfillment of the request will be possible, but the deadline will not be longer than 2 months. If it is not possible to ensure availability, the Lukasiewicz Research Network – Organic Industry Institute will propose an alternative way to access the information. If the Lukasiewicz Research Network – Organic Industry Institute refuses to comply with a request to provide availability or alternative access to information, the requester may file a complaint against such action. The complaint shall be filed with the Lukasiewicz Research Network – Organic Industry Institute. The complaint may be filed:

Architectural accessibility
The Lukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Organic Industry is located in four locations:
1. Headquarters:
Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Organic Industry, 6 Annopol Street, 03 – 236 Warsaw. There are buildings on the site, which contain laboratory, office and utility rooms. The main building, which houses the Directorate of the Institute and administrative premises, is accessed from Odlewnicza Street. A staircase leads to the entrance. The pass office is located on the right side, by the stairs to the entrance. There are no facilities for people in wheelchairs. There is no elevator in the building. In buildings where there are laboratory rooms for wheelchair users, the corridor and rooms on the first floor are accessible; there are no facilities for wheelchair users. In front of the Institute’s headquarters there is a parking lot for employees and visitors of the Lukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Organic Industry.
2 Branches and outposts:
- Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Organic Industry, Branch in Pszczyna, 27 Doświadczalna Street, 43 – 200 Pszczyna. The main building is accessed from Doświadczalna Street. The gatehouse is located on the right by the entrance gate. Stairs lead to each building. No parking for the disabled. No facilities for the disabled. No elevators in the buildings.
- Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Organic Industry, Explosive Technology Research Group in Krupski Młyn, 1 Zawadzkiego St., 42-693 Krupski Młyn. Access to the Research Group area is through the pass office of the security service. To access the site further, one must cross a bridge located over the Mała Panew River, from which the exit is by stairs. Access to the office building is restricted by stairs. A ramp is made to the laboratory building. There are no facilities for the disabled in the buildings (no elevator, ramp). Parking spaces are shared with Nitroerg S.A., among them are spaces designated for the disabled.
- Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Organic Industry, Ballistic Research Laboratory in Pionki, 3 Poligonowa St., 26-670 Pionki. It is located in a forest area, the entrance to the site is fenced through a gate. Stairs lead to the main building. The building is one-story. No facilities for the disabled. Only a corridor is available for wheelchair users. In front of the building there is parking on paved ground. There is no pass office on the premises.
