Participating in the IPOEX conference is an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge and learn about the latest achievements in the field of explosives, rocket fuels and safety-related technologies. During this year’s 20th edition, participants could listen to over 20 presentations on topics including modern methods of detonation initiation, properties of smokeless fuels, the impact of environmental conditions on the stability of powders and threats related to toxic post-explosion gases in mining. Research on new solutions in the field of rocket fuels and detection of hazardous materials in field conditions aroused particular interest.
As part of the anniversary, people who participated in almost every edition of IPOEX were honored – their commitment and contribution to the development of the conference were officially appreciated.
A valuable element of the conference was a panel discussion devoted to the sovereignty of Polish ammunition programs and the possibilities of cooperation between national scientific institutions and the defense industry. This shows how important a role the integration of research with practice plays.
The poster session, presenting the work of young scientists and research teams, also enjoyed great interest. The topics presented included research on shaped charges, the use of 3D printing, analysis of materials used in reactive armour and solutions improving the safety of explosives production.
