From May 27 to 29, 2024, we had the pleasure of organizing the IPOEX conference for the nineteenth time, which brought together 120 experts from the explosives and defence industries. This event was an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge, make new contacts and learn about the latest trends and innovations.
This year’s edition addressed topics such as the development prospects of the defense industry, modern tools, methods, and the application of research in the explosives sector, as well as broad safety considerations.
On the second day, there was also a poster session, where many interesting scientific research findings related to explosives and ballistics were presented. It featured 13 posters showcasing research on the stability of explosives, the rheological properties of plastic materials, and innovative technologies in the field of rocket fuels.
The nineteenth edition was also a time for farewells. This year, due to retirement, Mr. Piotr Szwarc from NITRO-CHEM S.A. attended for the last time. He has been associated with our conference since the very beginning. We thank him for supporting us with his presence over the years, which has been a significant contribution to knowledge exchange and relationship building within the scientific community.
The IPOEX conference serves as an excellent platform for discussing the latest achievements and challenges in the explosives industry. The rich program and variety of topics ensure that every participant will find something of interest.
We are already looking forward to the next twentieth anniversary edition of IPOEX, to which we cordially invite you!
