We are pleased to announce that following the inspection conducted on June 17–18, 2025, the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspector confirmed that Łukasiewicz – Institute of Organic Industry meets Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements for the production of amitraz.
What does GMP certification mean?
Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is a set of rigorous standards that ensure production processes are conducted in a controlled, safe, and repeatable manner. The GMP certification is official confirmation that the facility has been inspected by state authorities and meets all EU quality requirements.
For who is it important to?
- For manufacturers – the certification paves the way for offering active ingredients on the European and global markets. It proves that production is carried out according to the highest standards and that the company is a reliable business partner.
- For customers – this is a guarantee that the amitraz produced at our Institute is safe, of consistent quality, and can be used in medicinal products in accordance with registration requirements
