Can participation in scientific conferences have a real impact on the development of innovations in the cosmetics industry?
Absolutely yes! The Kosmotrend Conference, which took place at the Silesian University of Technology, was a great opportunity for us to present our research and establish valuable contacts.
During the poster session, we presented three topics:
- “Potential use of plant extracts in alleviating skin changes”
- “Methods for assessing the sensitizing effect of cosmetic product ingredients on the skin”
- “Natural deep eutectic solvents as a new extraction medium for obtaining cosmetic raw materials.”
In the era of increasing popularity of natural cosmetics, these issues are particularly important. Thanks to our participation in the conference, we had the chance to exchange experiences with other specialists and broaden our horizons in terms of innovative solutions.
