Project funded by an earmarked grant from the Minister of Education and Science
Title: “Modernization of the Heating Substation”
Total project value: PLN 693,500.00
Grant value: PLN 643 500,00
Implementation period: 2021–2022
Project description:
The aim of the project is to invest in replacing the outdated heating substation, improving working conditions and supporting the conduct of scientific research, R&D activities, and implementation work in the buildings of the
Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Industrial Organic Chemistry in Warsaw. To ensure the proper functioning of all research laboratories, the internal infrastructure, such as the heating substation, must operate efficiently to create suitable conditions for conducting scientific research.
The current heating substation at Łukasiewicz – IPO has been in operation since the 1970s and has not been modernized since then. Maintaining a stable ambient temperature in laboratory buildings, where scientific research and R&D activities are conducted, is crucial not only for the equipment but also, and most importantly, for the microorganisms used in research.
