The research group provides services in the areas of:

Chemistry and technology of high-energy materials:

  • laboratory-scale synthesis of explosives;
  • developing the technological basis for new forms of high-explosive and propellant explosives and pyrotechnic mixtures;
  • experimental production of: modifiers and additives for solid rocket propellants,
  • small-sized propellant charges and pyrotechnic products, etc.

Tests

  • high-explosives, propellants, pyrotechnic mixtures;
  • substances and mixtures with explosive properties, as well as products containing explosives;
  • artificial fertilizers containing ammonium nitrate;
  • devices and structures limiting the effects of an explosion;
  • blast waves and their impact on structural elements;
  • safety of automotive pyrotechnic products;
  • ballistic solid rocket propellants;
  • pyrostatic powders;
  • classification and determining the conditions for admission to the transport of hazardous materials.

Training and evaluation

Conducting training for entrepreneurs and people with access to explosives and issuing opinions on compliance with technical and organizational conditions for the production and storage of explosives.
