Compilation of Safety Data Sheets for chemical substances and mixtures

According to the Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2008 [REACH] – Safety Data Sheet is a basic communication tool in the supply chain. It is a set of information on the hazardous properties of chemical substances and mixtures, recommendations of safe use and the way of conduct in case any dangerous situation arises.

As part of our activities we offer:

  • compilation of the SDS for substances and mixtures based on the primary data,
  • update of the SDS considering the new classification and labelling rules compliant with the CLP Regulation (EC) 1271/2008,
  • compilation of the SDS based on the original english SDS and adaptation to appropriate legislative vocabulary,
  • translation of the SDS from Polish to English,
  • verification of existing SDS, regarding their compliance with the current regulations

Safety Data Sheets are compiled in accordance with applicable regulations, both, UE and national, i.a.:

  • The Act of the Cabinet of 25 February 2011, on the chemical substances and their mixtures.
  • Regulation of the Minister of Health of 10 August 2012, on the criteria and ways of classification of chemical substances and their mixtures.
  • Regulation of the Minister of Health of 20 April 2012, on the labeling of dangerous substances and mixtures.
  • Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2008 [REACH].
  • COMMISSION REGULATION (EU) 2015/830 of 28 May 2015.
  • Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP).

For the compilation of the SDS the following data are required:

  • proper name and application of the product for which SDS will compiled,
  • composition (quantitative, qualitative),
  • physicochemical data of the product,
  • SDS for each component – in case of a mixture,
  • an earlier version of the SDS – in case of an update,
  • any other information relevant for the safe production, storage, transport, market and use.

In case of an absence of physicochemical data, we invite you to familiarize yourself
with the offer of our laboratory and take advantage of our services in this area.
