Physicochemical Properties and Environmental Protection Laboratory

Certyfikat Nr 17/2017/DPL

Department of Physicochemical Properties and Environmental Protection carries out research of plant protection products and biocides and other substances and formulations.

The scope of research and development activities and services:

  • Physical and chemical properties studies of substances and formulations (mainly plant protection and biocidal products) for registration purposes and substances or mixtures for REACH registration purposes.
  • Research on waste water treatment – apart from classical operations (adsorption, flocculation, extraction, etc.) we propose application of Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOP), comprising, among others, ozone, hydrogen peroxide, UV radiation. The quality of raw and treated waste water – aside from COD, BOD, DOC, content of individual chemical substances – is examined considering the impact on the environment.
  • Research on application of wastes to produce biogas in anaerobic fermentation process.
